The news we have all been waiting for: James Bond will return!
It’s official: James Bond will return to cinemas across the globe in November 2019 for the 25th time. The good news has been announced today by the official 007 website and its social media channels. The official statement read as follows:
James Bond will return to US cinemas on November 8, 2019 with a traditional earlier release in the UK and the rest of the world. Bond 25, the next adventure in the long-running action franchise, will be written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, long time collaborators and writers on previous Bond films including CASINO ROYALE, QUANTUM OF SOLACE, SKYFALL and SPECTRE. The film will be produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli. Additional details regarding distribution, including international release dates, the film’s cast and director, will be announced at a later date.

After months of waiting, fans across the globe finally get an official statement as to when they can expect the return of agent 007 to the screen. Since months, the tabloids have been filled with rumours…one more ridiculous than the other. From possible candidates to replace Daniel Craig to a female Bond and, that’s the latest, Cara Delevigne as a possible Bond Girl. Several Bond experts have slipped into the role of an oracle and predicted an array of different scenarios, sometimes with alleged sources to back their claims.
Now, the wait is over and although there is nothing definite regarding the cast or the director, a start date is a solid beginning. However, with over two years until the next Bond film, it is only natural that fans of the popular franchise secretly dread a waiting period that long.
On the other hand, it might give the production team enough time to put finishing touches on a well-crafted script and assemble a talented cast and crew. A change of actors from Daniel Craig to someone else has not been confirmed, so it can be assumed that he will continue portraying agent 007.
