James Bond Club Germany Official Launch

Yesterday, August 4th 2014, marked the official launch of the new James Bond Club Germany which was founded earlier this year in Frankfurt on April 12.

Turning the club into a registered association and settling the legal formalities for that step delayed the official launch by a few months but the result is a fully functioning, officially approved club. The past few months also gave us foundation members the time to work on essential elements like the new logo (seen above), the website and discussion forum as well as membership forms, social media presence and activities we plan for the remaining months of this year.

The first major club event will be in Stuttgart in September where members will meet up for a 50 years of Bond screening of “Goldfinger” along with some nice surprises. A screening of “Goldfinger”, presented by James Bond expert Danny Morgenstern, will also take place in Braunschweig on September 20th and will be supported by the James Bond Club Germany.

From October 31st to November 2nd 2014, club members and Bond fans will meet up in Rotterdam for a joint visit to the Designing 007 exhibition as well as a “Diamonds are Forever” location tour in nearby Amsterdam  where we will by guided by Martijn Mulder (author of “On the Tracks of 007“) and Remmert van Braam (owner of An impressive list of renowned Bond aficionados is confirmed for the event.

If you need more information about the Club or how to become a Member you can find out on our Website or go directly to our membership page. You can also click the little white image at the top of the left blog column which will take you directly to the membership page. The annual membership fee is € 50.

Although the club website and social media presence is in German language, it goes without saying that we offer membership to everyone interested in joining the club and this circle of 007 enthusiasts. For that purpose, I am acting as the “Foreign Office” of the club and you can contact me at anytime via to receive further information or an English language membership form. Otherwise, everyone on our Facebook Page can assist you with any questions you might have.
