Daniel Craig presented his own Aston Martin, which is up for auction this month, at the Night of Opportunity Gala yesterday evening in New York. When asked what project is on the horizon for him, the answer was clear.
Accompanied by his wife, actress Rachel Weisz, Daniel Craig walked the Red Carpet of the annual Night of Opportunity Gala which was celebrated yesterday at New York’s fashionable restaurant Cipriani Wall Street. Both actors served as Co-Chairs for the Gala that was organized by The Opportunity Network and auction house Christie’s.
Daniel Craig, who is on the board of directors of The Opportunity Network, brought along a very special auction lot: his midnight blue 2014 Aston Martin Centenary Edition Vanquish, one of only 100 models worldwide, complete with a 007 nameplate. The car will be auctioned by Christie’s in The Exceptional Sale on April 20, appearing as Lot 27 in the auction catalogue. It is estimated to fetch between 400,000 – 600,000 US-Dollars. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to The Opportunity network.
When asked by reporters, what’s next for him and if it is Bond, he responded with a clear ‘yes’ but remained tight-lipped when questioned about Danny Boyle directing it. Rachel Weisz also responded in the affirmative.

This of course presents a piece of hope that Bond 25 is on schedule and proof that production will go ahead with Daniel Craig playing the lead role for a fifth time.
